Back in March 2020, just after the UK and other countries were entering into a period of lockdown, David Brazier (Dharmavidya) began sending out 5 minute podcasts to an increasingly wide-ranging list of subscribers. This has led to the creation of an online sangha which is now called the Global Sangha.

The Amida-shu and Global Sangha are in the same family of Sanghas but are two separate groups with different functions.
